Randi Devine LMFT

Randi Devine is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, practicing in the North County for 30 years. Randi works with individuals (adults, and teens over the age of 16) and couples; she also enjoys facilitating groups for men and women. Ms. Devine graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 1982 with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. Since earning her MFT license Randi has enjoyed working through transitions with her clients, exploring new relationship skills, building communication with partners, co-workers and family members. In addition, she has built an extensive specialization in assisting individuals who have experienced family/relationship violence. Randi combines therapy with education to expand her client’s knowledge base allowing them to make healthier decisions and reach more fulfilling outcomes.

When working with clients, Randi has an eclectic approach to treatment. She describes her modality as

“Client-centered” – working with each client in a modality that works for them. Randi is trained in CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), EFT (emotional focused therapy), Trauma Therapy, Crisis Intervention, Psychoeducational, and Solution Focused Therapy. Randi has been certified by the San Diego Adult Probation Department, for over 20 years, to provide Domestic Violence Services to Offenders, and is certified to provide parenting child abuse prevention groups to clients mandated by local Courts or Children’s Welfare Services.
